Washington Treaty

Definition:
Formally known as The Treaty on Intellectual Property in Respect of Integrated Circuits; China was among the first countries to sign this treaty, but the United States and Japan did not sign it due to disagreements with compulsory licences.

Definition:

Notice Of Allowability

Definition:
A notification to the patent applicant that the application has been placed in condition for allowance.

Overrun goods

Definition:
When a producer has authorization from an IPR holder to produce goods but exceeds the quantity, the excess goods are "overrun goods."
